Valloire 1430m

The traditional resort of Valloire is a wonderful addition to the programme for 2007. Situated at the foot of the famous Galibier pass, the resort has been built up around a 17th century baroque Church and retains much of its authenticity and charm from days gone by. The wooded ski area linked with the resort of Valmeinier, offers over 150km of pistes. With north facing slopes and more than 70% of the ski area above 2000m, the resort enjoys good snow conditions making it suitable for skiers of all levels. Off the slopes Valloire has a large selection of restaurants and bars to choose from. The resort has been credited with 'Famille Plus' label by the French Tourism Ministry, indicating that families will not be disappointed with the choice of facilities and activities on offer.
